Challenge
The Corn Exchange, one of Manchester’s most iconic buildings, has had limited success in establishing itself as a place-to-go over recent years. Its owners wanted to give The Corn Exchange a new lease of life by creating a destination for high-quality, social dining experiences in the restored, rich, historical setting of the Edwardian building.
Provocative Thought
Rather than focusing purely on the individual modern dining choices, of which there are many in Manchester, we wanted to draw attention to the importance of the setting — and the building as a destination in itself — as key factors in the overall culinary experience.
Solution
To build anticipation and launch The Corn Exchange, we created an integrated campaign – including outdoor, web, DM and search – reminding people that “great food deserves a grand setting”.
